We did finally reach LA. Went to Santa Monica beach, Malibu temple and Hollywood boulevard. Of course, with a kid with us we absolutely had to visit Universal studios. I particularly likes backdraft and terminator rides.

For my thanksgiving vacation, I went to my cousin’s place at Sacramento, California. It was a great trip as I was meeting my cousin after two and a half years. My other cousin was also there with his family. So I also got to meet my niece. We drove to Las Vegas. Spent some time there and drove to see Hoover dam before driving to LA. There is a lake (Lake Mead..I think) near Hoover dam, where we stopped to take some pictures. More enchanting than the lake, were these stark hills. The blue sky only helped to enhance their beauty.
